People, purchases and work on the ground.
Customer purchases, follow-up visits and the colleagues who make the work happen. These stories describe individual assignments; the scope of each new order is agreed separately.
A first purchase from China, followed by repeat orders
The customer was buying vehicles from China for the first time. Lucas helped them work through the full assignment: researching the requirements in both countries, selecting and inspecting vehicles, negotiating prices, and coordinating Chinese export documents and transport.
All procedures for the first purchase were completed and the vehicles reached the customer’s sales yard on time. The customer has continued to source vehicles through Lucas.
The purchase was only part of the conversation
After helping the customer procure ten Geely Galaxy A7 vehicles, Lucas travelled to Kazakhstan to explain vehicle operation and the infotainment system in person.
The visit focused on helping the customer understand the vehicles they had purchased.
Getting to know the people moving the vehicles
Lucas visited freight forwarders and customs brokers in China to discuss the practical work behind cross-border vehicle transport.
An urgent shipment, then a conversation face to face
After helping a customer urgently ship Changan CS75 parts, Lucas made a return visit in the UAE.
Meeting in person created time to discuss what the customer would need next.

An invitation beyond business
During a visit to China, a long-standing customer invited Lucas to join a gathering.
Discussing Chinese cars and African markets
Lucas led a small seminar on exporting Chinese vehicles to African markets, introducing Chinese cars and discussing their potential competitive advantages.
