The Changan NEVO Q06 is worth a closer look if you are comparing Chinese family SUVs for import. This review uses published manufacturer material. We have not road-tested the Q06, and the article does not confirm export stock or a destination-approved version.

How much space do the dimensions buy you?
Changan lists the Q06 at 4,837 × 1,970 × 1,670 mm, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase. For a buyer, the next questions are less glamorous: will it fit the parking space, can passengers get into the back comfortably, and does the luggage area suit the job? Ask for measurements or photographs that answer those questions. Wheelbase alone cannot describe the seating position or boot shape.
A nine-minute charging claim needs context
The official product page advertises an 800 V configuration, an 80 kWh battery, up to 700 km CLTC range and 30–80% charging in nine minutes. Those figures belong to a stated configuration and test conditions. They should not be read as a promise for every charger or every journey. Before ordering a Changan car for export, pin down the battery version, connector and compatible charger. Keep the test cycle next to any range comparison.
Will the advertised technology work in your market?
Changan’s October 2026 global announcement associates the Chinese-market Q06 with SDA Pilot Ultra. It also says overseas intelligent-technology rollout is staged and subject to local approval. Ask separately about installed hardware, enabled software, account setup, app access and functions available at the destination. A feature shown in a Chinese demonstration is not enough to settle those questions.
What I would put on the enquiry sheet
Specify the powertrain, model year, trim, battery, seat equipment and destination. Request the configuration sheet for that version, rather than a general brochure. Clarify who carries warranty responsibility and how parts and diagnostic support would be handled. Then compare the quotation. Q06 belongs on a shortlist when the family-car brief, charging arrangements and service plan fit together; a long equipment list is only the start.
